TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to the MAISON the FAUX boutique. The following terms and conditions govern your use of the MAISON the FAUX boutique webshop. By entering this webshop, you unconditionally consent to the following Terms and Conditions, which can be modified by MAISON the FAUX in its sole discretion, at any time and without notice. The Terms and Conditions include but are not limited to any others agreements and policies incorporated by reference herein (collectively “Terms and Conditions”)

 

PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the rights and obligations of both parties, solely in relation to an all online sales process of products offered on the web shop. The Terms and Conditions apply to all steps required to place the order and ensure the follow-up of such orders and their contractual obligations between the parties. This document is the only document that applies to the relationship between both parties. 

 

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND AUTHENTICITY

MAISON the Faux products are available for purchase online. All products created and or in-stock are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply.

In case we can only deliver a part of a requested order we will consult with our customer about this matter. MAISON the FAUX reserves the rights to change the Terms and Conditions, duration of special offers or sales promotional tools at any time. We will inform you if we are unable to process your order. We guarantee the authenticity of all products from MAISON the FAUX. MAISON the FAUX products are manufactured with the highest quality materials, design and workmanship. 

The products are intended for personal use unless stated otherwise.

  

HOW CAN I PURCHASE

Depending on availability, purchases can be made through placing an order in the web shop.

 

PRICES

Prices displayed on the web shop are listed in EURO and include Dutch VAT. For orders shipping to countries outside the EU 0% VAT will be applied at checkout.

All charges for duties, taxes and the carrier’s collection fee are in addition to the delivery of your order and shall be paid exclusively by you. You should contact your local customs office for further information. The amount of any applicable duties, tariffs and taxes will vary based on a multitude of factors, including items such as the destination of origin or the classification of the merchandise being purchased.

While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the pricing of the goods you have ordered, we will offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelation of the item. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the entire order as cancelled. 

 

PAYMENT

MAISON the FAUX only accept the following forms of payment for online purchases at checkout:

  • Credit card payment
  • Paypal payment service
  • IDEAL payment service
  • Bancontact/Mister Cash
  • Sofort Banking
  • Bank transfer

To increase your safety, we request your personal information when placing an order by checkout to exactly match your personal data for your bank transfer. The processing of your order may be delayed if this personal data is different. 

We do not accept gift vouchers or receipts of a gift to you, or other forms of payment than we have indicated as payment possibilities for online purchase. The order will only be processed after your personal information is verified and the payable amount is written on our account. Afterwards the shipment of your order will be confirmed.

If payment outside the Euro Zone occurs, your bank will handle the current exchange rates at the time of payment to determine and pay the to be transferred amount. We expect to receive the correct amount in Euros corresponding to the Exchange rates for the time of payment.

In refund cases, the purchase amount will be refunded within 7 working days, after the returned product(s) has been received in good order. Please note: depending on your chosen payment method, it may take a few days for the funds to appear on your statement.

  

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel or change your order, please send us soon as possible an email to the mail account: boutique@maisonthefaux.com. We will try our very best to fulfill your request.

However, Please note: orders are handled as quickly as possible. Once you have submitted an order with us, we have passed this into production. We cannot guarantee that your purchase can be canceled or changed after your order has been confirmed.

Once you have received your order please refer to our return instructions that we have included with your shipment in case of changes or cancelations.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The private customer has the right to return a purchase at any time within 14 days after receipt of the product. Full-priced products can be returned/exchanged within 14 days from the date of delivery, however, special offers cannot not be refunded. The date of return and exchange will be coordinated with you in advance and confirmed by us in email correspondence.

To return an online purchase MAISON the FAUX only accepts merchandise returned in its original condition. For a full refund / exchange if the merchandise is accompanied by the original invoice(s). Please note that we do not accept pieces that are worn, used, altered or damaged. Please contact our customer service if you wish to return or exchange an item.

We would like to make you aware that returned or exchanged merchandise can only be refunded or exchanged by carefully following the instructions you have previously agreed on with MAISON the FAUX, otherwise a refund or exchange by MAISON the FAUX cannot be accepted.

Upon receipt of the return merchandise in accordance with our terms and conditions, we issue refunds within 7 working days. Please note: depending on your chosen payment method, it may take a few days for the funds to appear on your statement.

The full amount of the refund will be credited to the original account, which has been used to purchase the order, using the same conversion rate that is used during the payment transfer. We will confirm to you that we have returned your payment and we will provide you with the bank account the payment has been returned to.

At all times you are held responsible for the to be charged shipping fees for return and or exchange.

Please note that a different return and exchange rate policy may apply to purchases made in other stores and online stores selling MAISON the FAUX.

All effort will be made to an immediate refund or exchange. An email will be sent to you once the return/exchange to you has been processed by us.

It is recommended that you return your merchandise using a recognized shipping carrier and use insured shipping options, so you are able to track your shipment. Also to make sure the shipment has sufficient insurance to cover the value of the merchandise. MAISON the FAUX will not be held responsible for reimbursement or compensation in the event of a refund or exchange package is lost, stolen, or mishandled.

MAISON the FAUX reserves the right to refuse goods acting by own discretion that are either a refunded or to be exchanged merchandise, that do not meet the above requirements.

The exchange of an item purchased on the website of MAISON the FAUX includes a simple two-step process: 

  • The return and refunding of the order
  • Re-selecting and ordering the desired product

Please note that (a) returned item(s) send to MAISON the FAUX are still in original shape, the items must be in initial state and still perfectly usable for new orders. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges of returned products, unless there is an error made by MAISON the FAUX in the original shipping process and MAISON the FAUX has confirmed this error to you in an email. Only then the product can be shipped through an appointed carrier by MAISON the FAUX, we therefore arrange the transportation. 

 

ERRORS AND INACCURACIES

Our goal is to provide complete, accurate and current information on our website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ensure that any website is completely free of human or technological errors.

This website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions, of which some relate to prices, availability, and product information.

We reserve the right to such errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including the information submitted. In order to improve, modify or update information at any time without notice. Where we deem it necessary, we will inform our customer by e-mail about this.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND SECURITY

The personal information collected about users for online sales is essential for the processing of orders and deliveries, as well as billing. This information is strictly confidential and will not be passed neither sold to third parties.

Missing information means automatic refusal of the order.
